ANINF CEO receives World Bank delegation

The National Agency for Digital Infrastructures and Frequencies (ANINF) General Manager, Alberto Wenceslas MOUNGUENGUI MOUDOKI, received a visit from a World Bank delegation led by its Resident Representative in Gabon, Aïssatou DIALLO, on Thursday 24th May. The purpose of the visit was to review eGabon-SIS project progress. The World Bank delegation’s visit is part of its mission to support eGabon-SIS project implementation. This project involves health information system digitisation. The meeting provided an opportunity for a detailed review of activities related to the system, including fiduciary aspects, accelerated implementation, disbursements and objectives achievement before the closing date of August 31th 2025. In his welcoming remarks, ANINF’s General Manager stated that ‘the World Bank delegation wants to ensure through this visit that the work is progressing smoothly in accordance with its standards, with a view to improving the disbursement rate’. For her part, eGabon-SIS project implementation coordinator Fidéline Ursule BEKOGO presented the deployment results at the Omar Bongo Ondimba Armed Forces Instructions Hospital (HIAOBO) and the agency’s data center. 40 ANINF engineers, in collaboration with the consortium, are mobilised 24 hours a day for the project deployment. eGabon-SIS is an urgent project of strategic importance. “Bravo to the team for the job already done and keep up the momentum. It’s important that Gabonese people benefit from this loan by the Gabonese government to ensure the project success” said Ms Aïssatou DIALLO, World Bank Resident Representative. eGabon-SIS project objectives are to improve the speed and reliability of information to support the delivery and management of public health services; to promote the development and deployment of e-health services and applications; and information and communication technology services. Indeed, in its health section, the National Transition Development Plan (PNDT) 2024-2026 recommends to improving population health and well-being. The meeting ended with a guided tour of ANINF’s data center facilities.
